I don't own an Iphone and I don't have an Instagram account, but Shauna Niequist's article "Stop Instagramming Your Perfect Life" in Relevant struck a chord with me. Niequist writes, "When you're waiting for your coffee to brew, the majority of your friends probably aren't doing anything more special. But it only takes one friend at the Eiffel Tower to make you feel like a loser."
Check out the article here. The comments section also made me think a little bit harder about social media--it's not a simple debate by any means. And my apologies if, in my attempts to capture beauty, I've ever made our life appear perfect on this blog; I assure you it's far from it!
