Since we've so shockingly entered into Winter here in Western Pa, I'm excited to share a brighter autumn session this morning. Nathan contacted me early in September about scheduling his family shoot, and I was particularly touched by his inquiry. He was planning to give his wife Barbara the session as a surprise gift for her birthday. What a considerate husband! I see a lot of new affection as a wedding photographer and I love that, but it was a joy to see more matured love expressed through his really thoughtful gift.
Jake and I went to college with Nathan and Barbara, so I enjoyed seeing how they've created such a beautiful life and family together. Because it was chilly when we began our session that morning, we started inside their lovely home before venturing out to the autumn scenes. The children were incredibly sweet, happy, and cooperative! I love morning family shoots for that reason:). Thank you so much, Nathan and Barbara! Your family is beautiful and you all were a pleasure to photograph. So, without further ado, meet this wonderful couple, their sweet children, and one very loyal companion.
