It is always a privilege for me to photograph a family for the second, third, or fourth time. I feel honored by the request to document not just family portraits, but a family's
history. So when Emily emailed me about capturing their growing family once again, I was particularly excited. I had the opportunity to
photograph them last year when they were expecting their second little girl, and it was one of my favorite shoots to date. Emily did a beautiful job preparing for and styling their shoot once again this year and it was a joy to be with them last weekend. Their family is a picture of
love and
strength amidst the unexpected adversities
and the surprising joys in life.
Emily and John, it really was an honor to photograph you two and your beautiful girls. You all are an inspiring bunch, and I'm thrilled that I was able to document this season for you all. Both of your girls are an absolute delight! Much love and gratitude to all four of you.
