It is officially autumn here in Western Pennsylvania and the trees are beautiful! I've finally given up my hold on summer and embraced the joys of our short autumnal season. Hot chai, miniature pumpkins, fleece jackets, and colorful leaf piles have graced our days the past two weeks. There's something very enlivening and inviting about the turning of this season. I'm never ready for it, but it wins me over quickly each year. And I'm not sure I'll ever get used to the striking menagerie of oranges, yellows, reds, and greens that grace the trees here each October. What a blessed season this is!
I think my clients must favor Autumn as well--I've been busy! I have a lot to share over the next few weeks and I'm grateful to start off with this beautiful family. I met Emily, Garrett, and their little boy on an early, crisp morning at The Old Stone House in Slippery Rock. I knew it was going to be a great shoot when my first glance elicited a huge grin from their handsome nine-month old. This little guy is one of the cutest, happiest babies I've ever met. Just scroll on down, you'll see:). Much love and gratitude to you, Emily and Garrett. Thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your family!
