They met during their senior year of college. But their relationship didn't extend past a simple friendship. Just friends. That was all. It wasn't until several years later that Joe decided to take a risk. Emboldened after an alumni golf outing, he decided to shoot Meghan a text. A bit taken back, Meghan responded. And kept responding. So started their romance.
This past summer, Joe felt emboldened again. This time, he knelt down on one knee in front of Meghan on the campus at which they first met. He proposed that they spend the rest of their lives together. Meghan, dressed in her jogging clothes and tired from her afternoon run, responded again. A bit taken back once more, she said yes.
Appropriately, we met on their college campus (which also happens to be my alma mater) for engagement pictures. I can honestly say that I have never felt more relaxed at an engagement session. Meghan and Joe are not only incredibly funny, they're also very kind, warm and flexible. And Meghan, you really are gorgeous. Thank you, guys, for giving me the honor to capture this special season in your lives. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone. Thanks for looking;).
