We have about one month before our little boy arrives (assuming he comes near his due date). We're both excited and nervous to become a family of four--excited to finally meet our son and nervous because we remember how fragile and demanding newborns can be. We'll be the first to admit that we were a little neurotic the first time around, so hopefully it comes more naturally with the second. Of course, we do have a little helper this time (note the pictures with the baby doll).
At any rate, we finally made it out to take a few family/belly pictures. I wanted to get out a little before sunset, but setting up my camera to work with a missing tripod piece and the evening sun-flare was a little trickier than I anticipated. I have a lot to learn when it comes to shooting at sunset, let alone when it comes to getting myself in the shot. But fortunately I have a very patient husband and daughter, and we were able to get at least one shot with us all looking at the camera--mission accomplished. (Credit goes to J for the other ones.) I hope you all have a nice weekend and a happy Mother's Day! -Emily
