While photographing one of our weddings last year, Jake and I couldn't help but notice the interactions between Kim, the maid of honor/sister of the bride, and her boyfriend, Axel. Much like the lovely bride and groom at that particular wedding, they shared an incredibly fun energy, humor, and tenderness. Needless to say, I was thrilled to receive an email from Kim a month or so ago about her wedding! We met early last week for their engagement photographs and their playful, loving interaction had not waned one bit. It can sometimes be a challenge to encourage a couple to act naturally in front of a camera - not so with these two! With the help of some beautiful summer light, creating their photographs was a walk in the park. Thank you so much, Kim and Axel, for trusting me to capture these images for you.
