I am so excited to start off the week with this beautiful couple and engagement session! I've known Chelsea for years now--she was good friends with Jake in high school and even came out to California for our wedding! So I was especially excited to meet her fiance Chad and get to know them as a couple. We had planned to spend the entirety of our time together in downtown Pittsburgh near Market Square. Because of the cold & rainy weather though, we decided to only do the first portion in the city and finish the shoot up in Grove City a couple days later. And honestly, I couldn't be more pleased with the way things turned out! We created some rainy, urban shots and some sunny, country ones--that combination doesn't happen too often. :) And although our time was cut short by the fading light both evenings, I was grateful for the chance to spend a bit of extra time with these two. Chad is such a terrific complement to Chelsea--they are so natural and at ease with each other. Photographing them was truly a joy. Thanks again, Chelsea and Chad, for being so flexible, fun, and gracious. I'm couldn't be happier for you two and am very excited for your wedding next year!
