It's not often that I get to photograph a couple who's been dating for almost eight years. Holly & Kevin are high school sweethearts and the love they share is uniquely authentic, established, and comfortable. Their intimacy, not grown overnight, is apparent in the small gestures and expressions--the way Holly falls into Kevin's arms, the way they share a quick laugh together, the way he glances adoringly in her direction. Photographing that type of love is nearly effortless and a true privilege!
I met Holly & Kevin last weekend at Holly's beautiful family home in Maryland. I actually knew these two a few years back when I was a teacher. Holly was my teacher's assistant for awhile (and her mother was my co-teacher!), so it was a joy to be with all of them again.
