When J and I got married, things like engagement shoots were not even on my radar. And save the dates? Didn't even know people did them! We weren't exactly trendsetters seven years ago, but I do think that times have changed a lot. Save the dates are pretty normal now and with good reason! They're a great way to not only ask family and friends to hold your wedding date, but also to set the stage for your wedding theme and style. They come in such a wide variety now--everything from magnets and stickers to post cards and folded letters. Here are a few from some of my 2012 couples:).

Ashley and Dave used the images from their engagement session with me and created
some really pretty and colorful save the dates on Shutterfly. Love these ones, too!
Diana and Asa used engagement images taken by their friend and designed a really great magnet
incorporating their wedding colors. Can't wait to photograph their wedding in Ohio--less than a month away!
