We're trying to teach L about gratitude and the Source of all good gifts. In the evenings, during prayer time, we encourage her to list a few people and things for which she's thankful. Her new kitchen set --the one she got for Christmas, the one J and I were up until 2am putting together--has made that list quite a bit the past week or so.
